A few

-
To effect
pride for the breed.
-
Successful
centenary celebrations.
Commemorative Journal:
This year we decided that we
will not be bringing out our annual journal, but instead make use of
our 100 year existence to publish a commemorative journal.
This journal will entail the history of the ACBS together with
marketing, advertisements and history of our members and of course the
future of the ACBS. For anyone who might be interested in advertising
in this journal, please contact Lauren Tissier on 051 447 7405 /
afcattle@intekom.co.za.
Celebrations:
Firstly we will start off in
Worcester. Many plans are being made to take all attending the Show on
a wine tour, followed by a seafood evening. Final arrangements are
still being made and details will be on the website shortly.
We then continue our celebrations at Vryburg, Nampo and Thabazimbi.
A national auction is planned later in the year where top quality
Afrikaners will be on offer. Stud Breeders must bear this auction in
mind with each selection and parent selection for future generations.
This will be an auction not to be missed!
Then to end our centenary celebrations in style, we invite all
Afrikaner members - old, current & prospective, to join us in our
final dinner in
Hoopstad.
We are in the process of
arranging all these events, so please do keep a lookout for updates on
our website and also invitations to each and every celebration!
Everybody’s support and
contributions will be highly appreciated.
Let’s make 2012 a year to
remember!
